How to connect
Sign in to Albato account.
Go to the Apps section. Click the Add a connection button.
Select the app from the drop-down list or use the search bar.
Click the Add a connection button.
Set the name for your connection. It is an optional setting which may help you avoid confusion if you have several accounts in the same app.
Enter your store URL in Shopify and Access Token.
Click the Continue button.
How to get Store URL and Access Token
Sign in to your Shopify account.
Copy your URL from the address bar.
Activate Shopify custom API and create your private app to get your Access Token.
Click on the App section.
Go to the App and sales channel settings.
Click the Develop apps for your store button.
Enable API, if you haven’t enabled it before.
To do this, click the Allow custom app development button.
Confirm API activation.
Click the Create an app button.
Set the name for your app (e.g, Albato).
Click the Create app button.
Click the Configure Admin API scopes.
Check the following boxes: Customers, Draft orders, Orders.
Click the Save button.
Go to the API credentials section.
Click the Install app button to generate a token.
Click the Reveal token once button to see and copy your token.
Important: if you leave this page and don't copy the token, it will not be available and you will have to create a new app.
Paste this token into the Albato connection field and click the Continue button.
The connection is ready!
